Its about one of our client in Abu Dhabi city, we have exported 1 Ton Hot rolled bar he wanted to buy the Bar at low price. Thus brought Bar from China, but the bar failed the test Later he brought the Bar from India, but was duped by a dummy company. The customer was under heavy pressure from the end user. He was facing a legal prosecution as had under contract obliged to complete the project within a specific time frame. He went to several big European brands but all of them offered delivery of 12-15 weeks. He again resorted to buying from a few select Indian and Korean Suppliers. We got the mail. We replied within 25 minutes. He asked for a Third Party Inspection and a 3.2 Certification. We accepted the terms. Within a span of 90 minutes we had the sales contract from the client. We supplied the goods and the client was relieved from the heavy pressure he was under. Nickel 200 /201/ 205 Bar Useful Information
Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened, commercially pure wrought materials with excellent mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion. It also has exceptional resistance to caustic alkalis at different concentrations and temperatures. However, the corrosion resistance is better in de-aerated acid. The alloy has low gas content and vapor pressure, and high thermal and electrical conductivities.
Nickel 201 is a commercially pure nickel with typically 99.6 percent of nickel content. This alloy is similar to nickel 200, however has less carbon content so as to prevent embrittlement by inter granular carbon at temperatures over 315°C (600°F). Lower carbon content also decreases hardness.
Nickel 205 alloy is a wrought nickel alloy with properties similar to that of nickel 200 alloy. It exhibits excellent mechanical, electrical and corrosion-resistant properties and good oxidation resistance.The alloy is ferromagnetic below 360°C (680°F), and contains small additions of aluminum and titanium for a good combination of mechanical and electrical properties
